The Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) and Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) are maintaining and developing it in good manner. Ramakrishna Beach, is familiar as RK Beach, which comes first among the Vizag tourist package. Each statue indicates the importance of their service to the society.
Livelihood for vendors
At the same time the beach road gives livelihood for number of vendors like pallis, mirch bajji, muri mixture, ice-cream, maize etc. It shows a small business, but income comes in thousands every day.
