Chennai High Court Stays Komaram Puli Release

Controversy does seem to follow the much-anticipated Pawan Kalyan, Nikesha Patel starrer Komaram Puli rather doggedly. The film has been hit by a fresh controversy this evening.

The Chennai High Court on Friday stayed the release of the film. The petitioner, Ravi Prasad, has approached the court claiming that the cheque (for Rs. 2 crore) given to him by the producer of Komaram Puli, Singanamala Ramesh Babu, had bounced.

Ravi Prasad Unit, headed by Ravi Prasad, supplied production equipment for Komaram Puli. The court stayed the release and ordered issue of notices. The hearing has been adjourned till Tuesday.
