Demand for YSR statues

Vizag: Artisans in city are getting busy in preparing statues of departed Congress stalwart Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy. Statues are made of plaster of paris and bronze are in demand. Each costs from 20,000 rupees to 60, 000 rupees.

This is because of Odarpu Yatra of YS Jagan in district scheduled from 3rd of January, 2011. Bear-head statues were on roads of Krishnarayapuram near Vepagunta.

Karunakar Reddy sought cadre support

B. Karunakar Reddy, former chairman Tirumala Tirupati Devastanams and close intimate of YS Jagan was here in city for the last two days for the arrangements Odarpu Yatra. He held discussions with cadre in Narasipatnam Payakaraopet, Yelamanchili constituencies on Saturday.

To attract the cadre in large number, MLAs of that constituencies G. Baburao (Payakaraopet) already announced his support to Jagan recently. Mutyala Papa (Narasipatnam) and U. Kannababu (Yelamanchili) are expected to join this camp on Odarpu Yatra.

Sabbam Hari, Anakapalle MP and senior congress leader Konathala Ramakrishna (Anakapalle) are established arrangements for this tour.
