Vizag: On the remembrance of departed chief minister Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy, a National Boxing Championship will be held from April 15, said GV Ravi Raju, General Secretary, Andhra Pradesh Amateur Boxing Association.

Addressing the newsmen on Tuesday in city, he said, this would be more beneficial to the ongoing boxers in the State. Competition will be conducted from light fly category to Super Heavy Weight category.

Participants should be born in the years 1993 and 1994. Winners in this tournament will be given additional training in the month of May at Kakinada camp. SV Sharma, Maruthi Prasad, Venkatesh and others were present. Earlier, the Ravi Raju displayed the overall championship trophy at the session.
