Fire accident in VSP - Rs. 25 crore worth property lost
Vizag: A major fire accident happened in Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) and a damage of more than 25 crore rupees worth property lost.
This incident held at RMSE department and wagon tipler, conveyor belts were fully melt which resulted high desity iron beams were liquified. It is the third occasion within a month in Visakhapatnam Steel Plant.
Prestigious Steel Plant witnessed a major damage and incurred a loss of Rs. 100 crore in Steel Melt Shop (SMS) department on successive periods 10th and 14th of this month. Officials enquiring the reasons for the heavy damage and planning for preventive measures.
