GV Ravi Raju - city head for YSR Congress

Vizag: GV Ravi Raju, 13th ward corporator in Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation appointed as city in-charge for YSR Congress. Earlier he was worked as Organising Secretary for Andhra Pradesh Boxing Association and produced number of sports persons especially in Boxing and other events games.

Having served over decades he was not recognized by the Congress Party, later he joined YS Jagan son of departed former chief minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy.

Big target was given to him by handed over city tags and it is tough time to hold on party cadre. Senior politician from Anakapalle Konathala Ramakrishna was given the district handle from the same party.

It is topic in city that how could a senior like Konathala be equalized with a junior Ravi Raju. Konathala served as a Minister in YSR Government, former Member of Lok Sabha, whereas Ravi Raju is only a corporator.
