Andhra Cricket Association: President - DV Subba Rao and General Secretary - Gangaraju

President DV Subba Rao & GS Gangaraju Vizag: Former chairman Bar Association of India, former mayor of Visakhapatnam and noted advocate D V Subba Rao elected as President of Andhra Cricket Association (ACA).

Industrialist and former president of ACA elected as General Secretary for the same body. Election was held on 13th of this month and result kept pending due to stay ordered by the Court.

By the instructions of the court Election observer BLK Reddy opened the ballot box announced the result on Thursday. This panel defeated SL Narayana Rao (for presidential post) and Moncho Ferrer for GS.

Headquarters of ACA is at Vijayawada and is concerned to Coastal and Rayalaseema Regions. Hyderabad and surroundings has its own Association. DV Subba Rao has very much associated with Cricket as a Player and as president of Visakhapatnam District Cricket Association. He visited West Indies as a manager for Indian Cricket Team.

President : DV Subba Rao
Vice presidents: N Mohan Das, Ch Arun Kumar, DVSS Somayajuluu, CHV Ranga Raju, J Ravindranath, M V Subba Reddy and VVSRG Krishnayechendra.
General Secretary : G. Gangaraju
Treasurer : P. Appala Raju
Secretary- South Zone : V. Uma Maheswara Rao
Secretary - Central Zone : Koka Ramesh
Secretary - North Zone : M. Prabhakar Reddy.

Hearty congratulations to the newly elected body of governing council of Andhra Cricket Association specifically Shri DV Subbarao garu and Shri DVSS Somayajulu. Hope the ACA will come out with flying colours from out of the alleged scam about which the ACB, AP, has been investigating into.
