1.53 lakh applications for EdCet - 2012

Vizag: A total of 1.53 lakh applications have been received for entrance test for admission into Bachelor of Education (Ed CET -2012 ) courses throughout.

According to the Convenor, Dr. N.Venkata Rao, applications are accepted directly and online as well. The Ed CET will be scheduled on June 8 from 11 am onwards in 40 cities in the State, over 350 centres.

AUCET Counselling Scheduled from May 31

Vizag: The counselling for admission into first year post graduation courses in Andhra University Campus, and other PG campuses will begin from May 31.

According to the campus sources, the rank cards were despatched to the students. The complete schedule will be announced soon, meanwhile all the students are advised to get ready with all the necessary certificates and marks statements and certificates of Class X (for age proof) and qualified Degree, transfer, caste and income certificate, etc.

Changes in AU Exam centres

Vizag: Some of the examination centres were changed in connection with the second and final year of BA. BSc. BCom examinations of the School of Distance Education, Andhra University, according to Dr. N.L. Narasimha Rao, Director.

The exams scheduled from May 3 in two sessions daily. All the students are requested to collect their hall tickets from the changed examination centres (if any). The changed examn centres are as follows:

Model EAMCET on May 6

Vizag: The Ramanujan and Raman Educational Institute is organising model Eamcet on May 6, according to sources. It would be more useful to the students who are attending the for EAMCET examination scheduled on May 12.

This model test will begin by 10 am and will make students tension free before the final whistle. All invited to take part in it. Filled in applications should the reach the Ramanujan Institute situated at Dwarakanagar on or before May 1.

AUCET 2012 begins

Vizag: The common entrance test for admission into various post graduation courses in Andhra University AUCET for the academic year 2012 onwards commenced at nine centres on Thursday.

This test is meant for admissions in to Science, Arts, Commerce in Andhra University campus, Visakhapatnam, PG centres at other locations. About 3,239 out of 3,548 candidates applied for the test, appeared on day one for science stream and 3,255 out of 3,579 candidates for arts subjects, according to the Director of Admissions.
