We wish a Happy Deepavali!!! wish you all a lot of peace and prosperity in the New Year. As many of us know, Deepavali as the Festival of Lights is the symbol of the triumph of good over evil. It is a struggle between forces of evil and enlightenment, and we must never allow ourselves to fall into the trap of ignorance and racism.

The festival of Deepavali is unique to India. It signifies the advent of joy and happiness. Every year, people look forward to this occasion which is celebrated for two days. The children await this festival to rejoice with fire crackers, wear new clothes and savor delicious eats. The adults take this occasion as an ideal time for gatherings, exchange of gifts and, of course, invest in gold, silver and new acquisitions for their homes.This is also the time when houses are given a fresh coat of paint.

Vizag: Grammy -2010 awardee, noted sound track engineer Adrushta Deepak felicitated here on Sunday. Being a Vizagite, he visited his home town on his 29th birthday. On this occasion Visakha Samskutika Sabhaa Samakhya felicitated him at Kalabharati auditorium.
